Wameco - 8K RAM Board
This was a nice clean well laid out
S-100 RAM board.
The board came out in 1977 so it did not had 24
bit address decoding. It was addressable or any 8K boundary. Up to 2 wait
states could be placed on the XRDY or PRDY lines for slow RAM chips. The
board had the bility to recognize the S-100 phantom line and to generate the
MWRT signal for computers that did not have a front panel. The board also
had IMASI/Altair write protect capability. The board was actually made by MIKOS
engineering -- the group that also made Solid State Music boards.
